Advising in the Cloud

The goals of this site are to provide a basic understanding of these tools and to help you decide if they have value for the work you do. Many sections begin with a video from Commoncraft by Lee LeFever. Here is are two overview videos of Social Media in plain English and Social Networks in plain English

The examples used on this page are college and university academic advising uses. If you have an example you would like to add to the page, email me at acrawley@comcast.net putting Advising in the Cloud in the subject line.

My stuff has tools I have developed in the last decade to support students online. I am happy to provide native files if you see something you would like to customize for your own use. Some are very old and have not been maintained, but might provide ideas. Most are professional, but a few are personal.
